Professionalism, high-tech, and mercy is the way to healing patients
City clinical hospital No. 18 of Ufa was opened in 1959. Currently, it is one of the largest multidisciplinary medical organizations fitted with modern medical equipment and highly qualified personnel. More than 18 thousand region’s residents are treated; about 10 thousand surgical operations are performed annually. The hospital is a clinical base of five departments of Bashkir State Medical University.
It is also a home of the region’s burn center to assist patients with thermal injuries; in terms of volume and quality of medical care, the center is one of the three leading burn centers in Russia. During the year, the burn center treats about 4,000 people with thermal injuries.
The hospital introduces high-tech methods of surgical treatment; it holds a license to provide high-tech medical care in nine disciplines. The work of the primary vascular department has been organized; traumatology center is operating; seven paraclinical departments are successfully functioning; a pilot project for early detection of colorectal cancer has been working in Ufa since 2018.
The hospital consists of three polyclinics, a rural health post, six medical stations, a women’s consultation, and a dental department. Medical care is provided in 36 areas. A health center operates in the clinic and serves more than 122 thousand people.
The team of 1,306 employees includes 345 doctors and 577 nurses. The defining principle of the staff has always been and remains the highest professionalism and individual approach to each patient.
